Pendings are homes listed for sale that have been placed under contract. The current number of new pendings is one of the best measures of current market activity. The graphs show that activity for each of the past 6 weeks vs comparable weeks in the prior 2 years.

Two weeks ago (wk49) was the biggest week of the past 6 weeks for Condo pendings in West Bradenton. More amazing is that this happened on week when single family sales were very anemic- the lowest level for new pendings of any week presented for both this year and last year. Hopefully it's a sign that buyers are recognizing the value in condos that have been beaten down in price over the past 2 years.
