The contract holds both buyers and sellers responsible for completing various tasks spelled out in the contract. There is a deadline for most of these tasks and the deadlines are most often expressed as the number of days from the contract date. But counting days is not that straight forward. Some deadlines end on a specific date but most others are expressed as "days from the contract date. Additionally, most deadlines cannot end on a weekend national holiday. If the counting of days works causes the period to end on a weekend or national holiday, then the deadline is moved forward to the next day that is not a weekend day or national holiday. My deadline calculator takes this into conisideration and prints you a deadline calendar.for your contract. Try out the deadline calculator here.
